i downloaded the .bin file from the magnavox site and burned it to a cd-r. When I put the disc in the bluray player, I got an error. (tried this twice w/2 different discs). Magnavox site of no help - told me if I got an error, I must be burning a bluray disc. (really? my computer doesnt even play bluray, much less burn them). Put the .bin file on the sd card (the only other interface on the player). Player read the card, but did not read the .bin file.
Any other thoughts on how to update firmware?
I'm experiencing sudden stops in playback, even after cleaning the bluray player. (Pristine discs played once end up looking 'mottled' after ejecting).
